Loved this small little cafe and its near Hiralal College. And also near to DAKKHINESHR metro station. It is very pocket friendly. Food is tasty however the service is a bit slow but the tasty and pocket friendliness compensates it. Also they make fresh food.

Today I stumbled upon a cozy little cafe tucked inside a house, just beside Bharati Bhaban School near Hiralal College. It’s not your usual commercial setup—rather, a homely corner lovingly put together by one didi who runs the entire place single-handedly. Yes, the service might take a few extra minutes, but trust me, the taste is absolutely worth the wait. Every dish I tried was delicious, and the pricing is super pocket-friendly. You can feel the care in the cooking. What makes the place even more charming is its nostalgic decor, inspired by “Calcutta”—and I use that word deliberately. The vintage vibes, subtle artistic touches, and warmth of the space truly capture the old-school charm of the city. If you’re ever around this area, skip the big names for a day and visit this lovely spot. Support small local efforts like this—it’s places like these that keep the heart of the city alive.

A small but beautifully decorated cafe. The ambience feels homely, and we enjoyed our food with pure adda in a relaxed way. We ordered Fresh Lime Soda, Mango Magic, and Iced Tea as drinks, followed by Egg Chicken Chowmein and Chicken Cheese Veggie Pasta. The quality and quantity of both food and drinks were quite decent for a reasonable price. The cafe is run by a friendly didi who managed everything very well.

Been there for the first time... food was pretty good and reasonbly priced. Decoration and atmosphere was good as well... The cafe had a pure adda vibe in it... I have a few complaints though... 1. No water was provided. Giving a glass of water, or placing a small water bottle with normal water at the table would have been a nice gesture. 2. Porcelin utensils were used. Good. But why plastic cutlery is being used? Plastic spoon dipped in hot soup does not go very well in regards of health. 3. Service was a little... different... I had to ring the doorbell to call the lady to order and then pay. First, I thought no one is even bothered. But later saw another customer ringing the doorbell to call them. Maybe this is the theme of this cafe... Overall good experience, and a recommended place to grab a quick snack and give adda with your friends...
